Designed by a Dad and two daughters (one learning to program, the other learning to spell!), SpellBuzz is a quick and fun way for kids to practice spelling while playing on your iPhone/iTouch.
SpellBuzz GRADE 1 randomly chooses spelling words from the National Grade 1 Word List, and speaks them in context just like a teacher in the classroom (e.g. "CAT - the cat climbed up a tree - CAT"). Kids spell out as many words as possible in 2 minutes using a modified screen keyboard (great for little fingers that are still learning to recognize letters) to beat their high score.
SpellBuzz automatically learns the words that get misspelled the most, and focuses more attention on those words to improve spelling more quickly.
